GAME FISH RIGS
Made in the U.S.A. by an angler for anglers.
The components are American Fishing Wire products, a leading manufacturer of saltwater terminal tackle. The nylon coated wire is double crimped at both ends for added strength; tripled crimped for heavier rigs. (See photos) A thimble is used to prevent chafing along with a super strong swivel.
The rigs are finished off with razor sharp hooks that penetrates faster, deeper and stays sharp longer than ordinary cheap cadium or wire hooks!
The wire is doubled through the hook eye ( semi snelled ) for added strength and a straighter hook set. (See photo)
Most manufacturers take the short cut and just go through the eye once. Reguardless of the lb. test of the wire; this creates a break point as the hook eye constantly rubs the wire and eventually weaking it!
Rigs pictured are approximately 5 foot long up to 170# test; greater than 170# rigs are approximately 9 foot. I custom make rigs to any length that you prefer, any quantity you need, just let me know.
These rigs are not only for Shark, they have been used for Sword Fish, Halibut, Tuna, Grouper and other bottom feeders.
